Even though it's been about 3 weeks since I moved on from the 3D animation, I saw this on youtube and recognised the way it has been done from what I have been taught. The characters are made up of lots of simple shapes and the movement of the joints is done by using the joints technique that Andrew talked to us about.
The spotlight was another technique Andrew showed us and it's good to see how videos like this can even have a little storyline involved with them to add an effect on to it.
